About yourself

I have gone through live working hard, raising my three children on my own. I love life so much and my job involved some high profile events so it never felt like working even though it was hard work and long days.
Sadly, in Feb 2019 I had an accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury – Cauda Equina Syndrome. Because of this, I have lifelong issues with my spine, nerve damage in my right leg and paralysed bowel and bladder. I’ve moved to a new city to start my life over and instead of giving up, I’m fighting back hard.

Why you applied for Miss Generation beauty pageant ?

This pageant encapsulates everything I am striving to achieve.
My goal is to show people that they can overcome any adversity, no matter what it is and no matter what age.
I’m excited to be a part of something that encourages people like myself to get back out into the world and do spending that can inspire others to do the same.

Interests. Plans for the future and your dreams ?

My family is my world. I love every minute I get to spend with them because now they’re all grown up, they have their own lives so time with them is even more precious now than ever before! Especially now I have a grandchild.
My plans right now are to go into Bath Residential Royal hospital where I will finally receive 4 weeks intense physio and the help that I need to overcome the physical issues and how to cope with them for the rest of my life.
I want to excel in this competition and hope that it will open doors of opportunity for me to go on to achieve more for myself and to carry on inspiring people to never give up.
I also plan to travel and see more of the world now that the children are old enough for me to do so.
