About yourself

Hello, my name is Natalia, I’m 30 years old and originally from Poland. I now live in London and have done so for the past 13 years. I love meeting new people and am very caring and compassionate, so my role in healthcare naturally flourished when moving to this amazing city. I currently work in the Hospital as an Overseas and Private Patients Officer and I’ve been building a career as a driven health administrator for the past 10 years. As an Overseas Officer I am responsible for delivering a customer focused service across the NHS Trust and also a service for NHS chargeable patient processes. This role requires a high degree of empathy in dealing with extremely sensitive issues, in particular explaining where funding is not available and language barriers occur. I serve as a liaison between different departments and hospitals and I’m also a point of contact for staff within the NHS Trust in dealing with overseas patients. In these difficult times working in the NHS became even more challenging and rewarding and I am extremely proud to be part of the NHS family.

Outside of work, I’m full time single mother to 13 year old daughter. My nickname is ‘mum’, ‘mum’, ‘MUUUUM’! Our bond and connection is like no other. We speak without words and love with just a glance. Being a mother means loving selflessly, taking care of those around you and supporting personal growth. It taught me how to be even more patient, forgiving, kind and compassionate. Being a parent is my proudest achievement of all. That’s why I decided to become an egg donor for those who are unable to have children. It truly is the most rewarding and life- changing process to be able to give someone a chance to have children! The fact that I am able to give something that makes somebody else’s life a tiny bit better gives my life so much more meaning.

On the weekends, you will find me with my friends exploring London, searching for never ending art, fashion, music, food and design inspirations. I have a strong network of supportive friends and cherish my time spent with them.

I truly believe our mental health and wellness is just as important as our physical health. I enjoy cycling, volleyball, walking, yoga and meditation. Being out in nature provides me with a sense of clarity and it inspires me to do better. I have always been an advocate for our environment and believe even small changes every day make a huge difference.

Why you applied for Miss Generation beauty pageant ?

Being a woman in today’s world can be very challenging, and that’s why I decided to take part in the Miss Generation competition as I find it empowering. It provides me with an opportunity to connect with other strong, independent, empowering women who have something to say. I want to be a good role model not only for my daughter but for other women too and show that anything is possible if we just believe in ourselves and push our boundaries. We should be taking in every experience, living our lives, taking risks and putting ourselves out there. I’m hoping that by putting myself out there I can inspire other women to do the same.

Interests. Plans for the future and your dreams ?

I love organising trips and events for my close family and friends and I’ve always been passionate about hospitality industry. One day I would like to own my own business and be an Event and Wedding Planner. Bringing people’s vision to life gives me the greatest happiness.

I have strong interests in music, especially electronic music. I’m always supporting artists, promoters and the London Music Community in every possible way. However, the tightening regulations made it impossible for us to dance together, but what’s clear perhaps even more now than ever before is that London’s clubbing heartbeat and community that drives it is still very much alive and I cannot wait to be reunited and to dance with everyone soon! I also love attending music festivals and concerts. Music has always been and will be a huge part of my life and festivals are the best opportunity for me to experience it.

Ever since I was a child, I had a sense of adventure. Just going around the ‘next bend’ on my bicycle, to see what was there, was exciting. I have always loved the adventure of travel — the unknown, something different, something new. Traveling helps make sure I don’t forget that. I love to travel because it takes me out of my comfort zone and I am always learning something new about myself and about that place each day I’m there.
