Interests. Plans for the future and your dreams ?
If I am honest, I do not really have dreams at this point in time of my life. I have always seen dreams as goals that I can only hope for, yet over which I cannot have complete control as they also depend on other factors such as simple luck, whereas plans seem more concrete and have a set of achievable steps. That is not to say that I have never dreamt of certain successes; earlier in my life I had dreamt of having a loving relationship, having a wonderful daughter and perusing a career that always fascinated me and pleased me. I feel that I have been lucky enough to have achieved all of these.
On the other hand, in terms of actual plans for the future, I have more than plenty: setting up another salon and delving into a new branch of business by opening a cafe, designing and releasing a new brand of professional clothing, among many others. I have already begun working on some and am itching to start on the others.
Why you applied for Miss Generation beauty pageant ?
Ever since I started my own business, I have met and talked to many men and women who have brought up a common difficulty they face: they feel that the spend a large portion of their lives focused on family, domestic work around the home, and their jobs, leaving them with little time to invest into doing what they had always hoped to accomplish in life. It has always struck me ever since. Therefore, I decided to take part in ‘Miss Generation’ to try to empower those who feel this way, to show that their options are limitless and that they can achieve whatever they want despite the fast-paced lives people live nowadays. That they can still find the time to develop personally and devote themselves to what means the most to them.
